Due to expansion in operations, the company is seeking a talented HR Advisor to join the team.
Job Description
As a HR Advisor you will be responsible for:
* Provide coaching and guidance to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
* Take ownership of weekly and monthly payroll for temporary and permanent employees.
* Conduct new employee orientations and on boarding activities to facilitate the integration of new hires into the organisation and ensure a smooth transition.
* Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary actions, while promoting a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
* Administer employee benefits programs, including enrolment, changes, and inquiries, and serve as a point of contact for benefits-related questions and issues.
* Collaborate with HR colleagues to develop and implement HR initiatives and programs aimed at enhancing employee engagement, productivity, and satisfaction.
* Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.
The Successful Applicant
The successful HR Advisor will have:
* Experience in HR roles, preferably within the FMCG industry.
* Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices, as well as relevant employment laws and regulations.
* Previous experience processing payroll is desirable.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with employees at all levels of the organisation.
* Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
* Ability to multitask, prioritise workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office applications.
