About This Opportunity
National best practice is that reablement services should be therapy led. This is the opportunity to work in the reablement service and to assist reablement managers to improve the therapeutic offer. The role involves contributing to the planning of improvements, overseeing identified actions for improvement, and evidencing outcomes.
* Demonstrate leadership skills within a change management setting to facilitate improvements.
* Lead on developments with teams and promote and embed improvements alongside managers.
* Focus on therapy‑led programmes graded to promote independence and enable individuals to maximise strengths, improving their quality of life and promoting prevention.
* Actively promote the work of the service and be a good communicator to work effectively with relevant stakeholders both internal and external to the council.
* Receive initial enhanced support offer for this role.

This role requires an Enhanced DBS check with an Adult’s Barred List check. This role involves working in regulated activity with adults. It is an offence for people who are barred from working in regulated activity to apply for roles that require working unsupervised with adults.
