Position Overview
As a Preventative Maintenance Engineer, you will collaborate closely with the controller to maximize the operational availability of our equipment. Your role will involve:
* Timely and efficient routine maintenance to keep our machines running smoothly.
* Identifying potential issues that could affect availability.
* Performing minor repairs as needed.
* Being a safety ambassador, ensuring all servicing promotes safety for yourself and our customers.

Your Key Responsibilities
* Preventative Maintenance Servicing: Conduct routine servicing in line with manufacturer guidelines (75% of your time).
* Machine Inspection: Perform visual and mechanical analyses to identify developing issues (20% of your time).
* Minor Repairs: Complete minor repairs and installations as identified (5% of your time).
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should have:
* A basic knowledge of key product elements: Engines, Hydraulics, Powertrain, and Vehicle Electrics/Electronics.
* Experience in a related engineering function (around 3 years) or a formal apprenticeship qualification (C&G level 1).
* A full driving license held for at least 2 years (essential for this field-based role).
Working Conditions
This is a field-based position with a working pattern of Monday to Friday, including 1 Saturday in 3 at an overtime rate. You will work 43 hours per week with flexible start and finish times.
