We have a rare opportunity for an experienced registrant to join our Family Nurse Partnership in Fife as a Family Nurse Supervisor.
The Family Nurse Partnership (FNP) is a specialist, evidence-based early intervention programme offered to all eligible first-time mothers aged 20 years or under, and care experienced aged 25 years or under, from early pregnancy until the first child turns two.
The Post Requirements Are
* First level registered nurse or midwife with current NMC registration and awarded a degree at the time of applying for the post.
* Having already completed and consolidated the 18-month mandatory core FNP education.
* Evidence of FNP continuous professional development.
* Masters level education or able to evidence and demonstrate clinical practice at masters level.
* Experience in facilitating practice supervision.
* Understanding and extensive practice experience of working with families in the community and knowledge of national and local policies in place to protect children.
* A working knowledge of Getting It Right For Every Child and legislation relating to children and young people.
Please note: The successful candidate will be required to attend mandatory FNP Supervisor Education, some of which may be residential, commencing in August 2025.
Interviews will include a formal panel interview with role play, as well as a separate interview with FNP clients.
