In this senior leadership role, you’ll be at the heart of Drivetech’s operations and logistics function. You’ll oversee supplier relationships, both local and global, while managing complaints, risk and compliance, product support, and trainer bookings.
You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders across our commercial and police client base, as well as our governing body, UK ROEd. Your ability to build and maintain strategic partnerships will be key to our continued success.
Financial accountability is central to the role. You’ll develop revenue plans and ensure costs are managed within budget, driving profitability through smart, efficient operations.
You’ll lead performance across the function, working with AA Shared Services to improve productivity, streamline processes, and ensure everything runs smoothly, cost-effectively, and to the highest quality standards.
As a core member of the Drivetech leadership team, you’ll influence business decisions and help shape the future of our services and systems.
You’ll be responsible for delivering against key KPIs, fostering a high-performance culture across sales, service, and retention. Your leadership will inspire teams to achieve strong engagement, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction.
Logistics will also be a major focus. You’ll ensure customer bookings, across both commercial and police sectors, are handled efficiently and profitably, helping us meet service level targets and maximise margins.
What will I be doing?
* Managing the operations and logistics P&L to meet revenue and cost targets within budget.
* Ensuring trainer bookings are effectively managed to support both Police and Commercial contracts.
* Building strong working relationships with the Drivetech Leadership Team to promote collaboration.
* Developing influential partnerships with key stakeholders, including UKROEd.
* Representing Drivetech in contractual customer meetings and supporting bid and tender development.
* Supporting AA functions to drive a culture of service excellence and exceed NPS targets.
* Leading teams to meet performance targets and KPIs across operations and logistics.
* Overseeing regional managers and team leaders to maintain a skilled and motivated workforce.
1. Ensuring compliance with company policies, including HR, Health & Safety, and Environmental standards.
2. Driving operational efficiency through process improvements, system upgrades, and innovation.
What do I need?
* Experience managing financial budgets, P&L, and driving operational productivity and quality.
* Strong track record of leading bids, tenders, and contractual negotiations.
* Proven ability to manage relationships with both external customers and internal stakeholders.
* Skilled in gathering and using customer feedback to improve services.
* Project Management qualification and experience in leading change initiatives.
* Solid understanding of ISO standards and compliance frameworks.
* Knowledge of the police and government sectors, including key stakeholders.
* Excellent relationship-building skills across all levels of the organisation.
* Confident in analysing complex data to inform strategic decisions.
* Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
