This is a leadership role focused on achieving key business objectives in safety, cost, quality, service, and profitability while developing a high-performing team and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Purpose of the Role Your core mission is to deliver operational targets and drive performance improvements across asphalt production. You’ll lead with clarity and purpose, ensuring business expectations are met and exceeded, while developing your team through coaching, mentoring, and structured learning. Key Accountabilities Collaborate with the District Operations Manager to develop annual profit plans and capital expenditure proposals Create and implement local operations plans to meet safety, profit, quality, and service goals Forecast monthly operational costs and production aligned with commercial needs Benchmark performance and identify opportunities for improvement Ensure a safe working environment with zero Lost Time Incidents (LTIs) Manage productivity, cost control, service levels, and product quality Produce monthly operational reports and implement corrective actions where needed Ensure compliance with quality, health & safety, environmental, and legal standards Lead and motivate the team to achieve business objectives Communicate performance expectations and results clearly and effectively Develop team members through Personal Action Plans, coaching, and mentoring Operate in full compliance with IMS, Entropy, LMS, and Regulation 8 requirements Align daily asphalt production with sales delivery for maximum efficiency What We’re Looking For Proven experience in operational or production management, ideally within asphalt or heavy industry Strong leadership and communication skills A proactive approach to problem-solving and performance improvement Commitment to safety, quality, and team development Why Join Us?
