You will work closely with pupils who have communication difficulties, helping them to develop language skills and access learning across the curriculum. Key Responsibilities: Support pupils with speech, language, and communication needs (SLCN). Deliver targeted interventions designed by Speech and Language Therapists. Encourage use of strategies such as visuals, repetition, and Makaton. Assist teachers in adapting classroom communication. Track and record pupils’ progress in speech and language development. Requirements: Experience supporting children with speech and language needs. Knowledge of strategies such as Makaton, Colourful Semantics, or ELKLAN training (desirable).
