This role involves overseeing the maintenance, repair, and optimisation of rotating equipment within the energy & natural resources industry. The successful candidate will play a key part in ensuring operational reliability and efficiency in a permanent position based in Paisley.

Description
The Rotating Equipment Mechanical Engineer will need;
* Review of tender specifications
* Creating and checking of tender documentation including drawings, specifications, parts lists, and technical descriptions.
* Technical coordination of vendors for sub-contractor parts/services.
* Project planning and technical support of commercial discussions with Customers and suppliers.
Field support
* Provide technical support during rotating equipment and gas turbine overhaul
* Secondment to site.
* Preparing installation procedures, method statements and risk assessments.
Product development
* Develop Models, drawings and specifications for a wide range of rotating equipment and gas turbine component parts and assemblies.
Other Duties
* Respond to both internal and external technical enquiries.
* Review and action production concession requests and non-conformance reports.
* Respond to repair process and development issues.
* Conduct RCA's in conjunction with field and customer representatives.
* Site surveys as required.
Profile
A successful Rotating Equipment Engineer should have:
* A degree or equivalent qualification in mechanical engineering or a related field.
* Experience working with rotating equipment within the energy & natural resources industry.
* Ideally knowledge of Industrial Gas Turbines
* Strong technical knowledge of maintenance and repair processes.
* Familiarity with industry standards and safety regulations.
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
* The ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Job Offer
* Competitive salary ranging from £50,000 to £60,000 per annum.
