Overview
We are seeking a dedicate and professional Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently, supporting the dentist and ensuring a smooth operation of the front desk. The position requires strong communication skills, organization ability and a passion for delivering high quality service to our patients.
Duties
* Greet patients warmly upon arrival and assist them with check-in procedures.
* Provide a supporting role to the dentist or hygienist in their clinic.
* Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring optimal use of the dentist's time.
* Handle patient inquiries and provide information regarding services offered.
* Maintain accurate patient records and manage electronic filing systems.
* Process patient payments and manage billing inquiries.
* Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
* Assist in maintaining a clean and organised reception area.
* Perform other administrative duties as required to support the practice.
Skills
* Strong patient care skills with a focus on creating a welcome environment for patients.
* Excellent communication skills in English both written and spoken, to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
* Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple task efficiently in a busy environment.
* Familiarity with Dentally software systems relevant to dental practices is advantageous.
* Ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with patients, ensuring their comfort and understanding of procedures.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: Up to £12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 29.5 per week
