Senior Ecologist – Warrington
We’re looking for a Senior Ecologist to join a well-established, multidisciplinary environmental consultancy based in Warrington. This is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced ecologist looking to lead projects, support junior team members, and contribute to high-quality environmental outcomes.
You’ll be working on a variety of projects across sectors including residential, infrastructure, renewable energy, and conservation. The role involves survey planning and coordination, reporting, licensing, stakeholder engagement, and providing clear, practical ecological advice to clients.

You will ideally have;
11. A degree in ecology or a related subject
12. Significant experience in ecological consultancy
13. Strong field skills and experience in a range of habitat and species surveys
14. Ideally a protected species licence (e.g., bats, great crested newts)
15. Excellent report writing and ability to deliver high-quality outputs on time
16. A solid understanding of UK wildlife legislation and planning policy
17. Experience in project management and client liaison
18. Full CIEEM membership (or eligibility)
19. A full, clean UK driving licence
