You’ll enjoy working with clients, colleagues, and various stakeholders, simplifying concepts so they can easily understand them and learn from your experience. You’ll be a good communicator, proactive in liaising with clients to identify their needs and new opportunities for your team. You’ll take ownership of your work and your team's delivery, being dependable and delivering on commitments.
You’ll be experienced in reviewing and producing high-quality technical documentation while meeting delivery and cost requirements.
This role offers the opportunity to work on exciting projects across a broad range of clients, including Nuclear New Build, Decommissioning, existing Nuclear Generation, and Nuclear Fusion. It’s a step forward in your career as a Technical Leader and Line Manager.
You will work in a collaborative and supportive environment for at least half of your working week, benefiting from the collective experience of the team and clients.
About your team:
The focus of our Nuclear & Power business is our people, building long-term relationships with clients through framework contracts. You’ll be part of a diverse Electrical, Control & Instrumentation team from over 10 countries, with wide-ranging backgrounds. You’ll have access to major industry players and opportunities to engage in non-technical areas if interested.

What you’ll be doing?
The role involves leading projects to deliver C&I solutions for new nuclear stations, fusion research facilities, supporting existing nuclear fleet, and decommissioning sites.
Day-to-day activities may include:
* Producing clear technical reports.
* Reviewing technical documentation.
* Producing Safety Case documentation.
* Leading C&I teams on large or multi-discipline projects.
* Delivering technical solutions to complex problems.
* Communicating regularly with clients and stakeholders.
* Producing bids and proposals.
* Taking responsibility for your work and your team, working closely with clients both remotely and on-site.
What you can bring?
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, plus:
* Qualifications in electronic/control engineering or similar.
* Senior technical experience with leadership skills.
* Strong understanding of nuclear safety requirements.
* Experience in functional safety and safety-critical C&I systems design.
* Knowledge of commercial and client management principles.
* Chartered status with a relevant professional body.
* A proven record of delivering challenging projects.
