Project: £10bn+ Defence nuclear construction programme based in central Southern England. A 10+ year programme to deliver a manufacturing capability including multiple projects. The programme is in a highly secure site and will require successful candidates to achieve SC+ clearance. This is due to need to work in live and strictly controlled environments that are operating at the highest levels of safety and security. The programme is established and currently in a planning and capability development phase in preparation for the delivery phase to begin in Q1 2026.
This position is a key part of the Construction Logistics Team that will provide construction logistics transport support to all construction activity on the Client’s sites. The role holder is responsible for ensuring that project construction logistics materials requirements and demand are integrated into the Construction Logistics Team’s planning and delivery of construction logistics support. The role holder will enjoy significant freedom to engage with the wider sector supply chain to assist with the development of the holistic clients Construction Logistics plan.

We are seeking talented individuals that want to join us as a Senior Project Manager or Project Manager that can work with us in our Consultancy division.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting and defining the successful delivery and operation of Near to Site Office Accommodation, on site Office Accommodation & Overnight Accommodation including provision of Facilities management projects or programmes.
Translating project construction logistics accommodation requirements into effective construction logistics plans that comply with the Client’s construction logistics strategy.
Ensuring that project and contractor construction logistics accommodation requirements and demand are delivered effectively, efficiently, compliantly and safely.
Supporting the Construction Logistics Team, the 3rd Party Construction Logistics Partner and the Client’s construction projects in ensuring that construction personnel are in the right place, at the right time, in the right quantity.
Functioning as the Construction Logistics Team’s eyes and ears on accommodation across the Client’s construction projects and programmes.
Implementing construction logistics accommodation strategy and plans in the projects within the role holder’s portfolio.
Producing and providing, to the Construction Logistics Team and its stakeholders, project performance, issues, risks and opportunities in relation to construction materials logistics.
Liaising with the Construction Materials Logistics and Integration Project Managers to ensure that there is a Construction Logistics Team-wide understanding of the planning and delivery of construction materials logistics across the Client’s construction projects and programmes.
Measuring and reporting the performance of the 3rd Party Logistics Partners in planning and delivering construction people to the assigned portfolios of construction projects.
Production of the construction accommodation logistics component of the Project Construction Logistics Plan in conjunction with the Client’s project teams and contractors.
Managing the preparation and provision of construction people logistics reporting information to the Construction Logistics Team, 3rd Party Logistics Partner and wider Client organisation.
Ensure that performance against planning constraints is monitored and potential breaches reported in sufficient time to enable effective proactive intervention to prevent them.
Deliver milestones/objectives set by the Construction People Logistics Manager.
Assimilating and validating the resourcing and cost estimates provided by a 3rd Party Logistics Partner for the support to the projects within the assigned portfolio of projects.
Supporting the preparation of robust tender and contract programmes and documentation using the designated planning tool.
Producing project reports or data as required to meet the needs and deadlines of the Construction Logistics Team, the construction programmes and other stakeholders as required.
Working as part of an integrated project team that brings together people with One Vision across several companies, Stakeholders, Third Party Logistics provider and Third Parties.

Managing and outperforming against the contract (typically NEC4).
Contributing to the review of project performance and production of reporting to drive continuous improvement.

Developing detailed project budget and forecast cash flows/milestones from approved budget.
Determining project risks and develop a project risk management plan (RMP), facilitating the risk review process and managing, monitoring, and mitigating project risks through the RMP.
Preparing monthly reporting, ensure reporting mechanisms are linked to on time on budget delivery and ensure implementation of project management methodology.
Ensuring that the highest standards of health and safety are considered as a priority through all stages of the project.

You have previous experience working in a Project Management role within the construction sector, ideally with office accommodation experience, and have some NEC3/4 knowledge. You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships and lead strong, motivated teams.
