CNC Turning Setter Operator

An exciting opportunity for a skilled CNC Turner setter operator to join a friendly, expanding, progressive company with excellent career prospects.
Colt Precision Ltd supply precision engineered parts and assemblies to the medical, aerospace and automotive industries. We currently require the services of an experienced CNC Turner to run our Doosan CNC machine centres on a permanent basis.
As a CNC Turning setter operator you will be responsible for running our Doosan Lynx 2100SY machines. The diverse range of jobs and interesting products means that no two days are ever the same with many opportunities to learn/improve skills.
The ideal candidate will be apprentice trained/minimum 2 years Turning experience (Setting / Operating) machining precision components using Fanuc controls. Previous programming experience would be advantageous and/or knowledge of medical manufacturing working practices.
Skills & Qualifications:-
* Minimum of 2 years Fanuc or similar controls.
* Ability to program on the Machine Control.
* Ability to inspect own work and carry out first off inspections for others.
* Have excellent team working and communication skills.
* Ability to use initiative to problem solve.
* A keen attitude and desire to grow with the company.
* Knowledge of programming from a CAD model would also be an advantage.
Salary and Benefits:-
£30000-£40000 per annum dependent on experience. Competitive package including shift allowance and overtime.
