An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrician to join one of the UK's leading Facilities Management companies, covering Glasgow and the surrounding areas.
The ideal candidate will have a strong electrical background and hold recognised qualifications such as NVQ/SVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations or Maintenance, along with the 18th Edition as a minimum.
The Role
You will be working as part of a regional team across a number of retail sites, carrying out a wide range of building maintenance duties. The role involves both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works on electrical and mechanical plant.
Duties
* Support other technicians with major and minor maintenance tasks
* Complete all PPM and reactive maintenance within agreed timescales
* Ensure all documentation and paperwork is completed accurately
* Prioritise and carry out minor repairs efficiently
* Ensure all tools and equipment are available and in good working order
* Travel to additional sites within the region when required
* Work closely with colleagues and clients to maintain high standards
* Represent the company in a professional manner at all times
* Work in line with company KPI's
* Accurately update the Mercury system with live job information
Qualifications
* NVQ/SVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations (or equivalent apprenticeship)
* 18th Edition
Salary / Package
* Basic Salary: £36,558
* Standby Payments: £2,535
* Additional £1,500 competency payment (upon completion of electrical fault training on catering/bakery equipment)
Total package: £40,593 (post-training) + overtime
* Overtime:
o 1.5x Monday to Friday
o 2x weekends
* OTE typically £45,000 - £50,000+ (higher depending on overtime uptake)
* Paid travel time
* Call-out rota: 1 in 4
* Company vehicle (with private use)
* Private healthcare
* 33 days holiday
