We're looking for a Project Director to join our Construction team based on a project in Hertfordshire.

Contract: Full Time, Permanent
What will you be responsible for?
As a Project Director, you will oversee the delivery of projects ranging from GBP60m to GBP100m+ in sectors such as Defence, Education, Healthcare, and Commercial for Kier. Your responsibilities include monitoring build progress, overseeing finances, ensuring quality delivery, and providing leadership to Project Managers to implement project actions. This role will lead a large Education project in Hertfordshire.
Your daily tasks will include:
* Managing the pre-construction phase to ensure readiness for the construction phase.
* Managing operational communications and relationships with clients, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and government agencies.
* Implementing the project plan and ensuring contractual compliance.
* Managing multidisciplinary teams to meet client expectations.
* Providing timely and accurate progress reports to the client.
Who are we looking for?
This role requires a highly experienced individual in major projects, with the ability to demonstrate:
* Strong technical and operational credentials within tier 1 construction sectors.
* Experience managing budgets, programmes, and resources.
* Ability to manage senior teams.
* Experience delivering similar schemes.
