Location: Hull Depot (with occasional travel to Barnsley & Bradford) Hours: 20 hours per week (Wednesday–Friday, early starts)
Working Hours
· Wednesday: 5:00am – 9:00am
· Thursday: 5:00am – 1:30pm (30-minute break)
· Friday: 5:00am – 1:30pm (30-minute break)
About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and reliable Storesperson / Workshop Technician to join our East Yorkshire Field Operations team on a part-time basis.
This is a varied, hands-on role where you’ll be responsible for maintaining depot operations, managing stock, and supporting workshop activities. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our technicians have the equipment and materials they need to deliver an excellent service.
Key Responsibilities
1. Unloading Internal Deliveries using a forklift truck (FLT training provided)
2. Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment
3. Managing stock levels and processing stock orders
4. Supporting workshop activities, including equipment verification and repairs (training provided)
5. Moving equipment between regional depots as required
6. Ensuring high standards of safety, housekeeping, and compliance are maintained
7. Supporting wider operational needs and completing all required documentation
About You
We are looking for someone who:
8. Has strong organisation and time management skills
9. Can work independently and use their own initiative
10. Takes pride in maintaining high standards of safety and cleanliness
11. Has good communication skills and a proactive, “can-do” attitude
Essential Requirements
12. Full, clean driving licence
13. Ability to work early morning shifts
14. Willingness to undertake a DBS check
Desirable (but not essential)
15. FLT licence or warehouse experience (training provided)
16. Previous experience in a stores, logistics, or workshop environment
