Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Part-Time Burger Chef to join our dynamic culinary team at Sharkbite burgers cwmbran. Duties
* Prepare and cook burgers and related menu items according to established recipes and quality standards
* Supervise food production processes, ensuring consistency and efficiency during service
* Manage kitchen operations during shifts, including overseeing food safety protocols and cleanliness
* Assist in training and mentoring junior staff members, fostering teamwork and professional development
* Maintain stock levels, organise ingredients, and ensure proper storage practices
* Ensure all dishes are prepared in a timely manner to meet customer expectations
* Uphold high standards of hygiene, safety, and cleanliness in line with health regulations
* Collaborate with front-of-house staff to deliver excellent customer service during busy periods
Qualifications
* Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen roles within a restaurant or hospitality setting
* Supervising experience or team management skills are highly desirable
* Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food production
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
* Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate team members
* Previous experience in restaurant service or serving is advantageous
* A genuine passion for culinary arts and hospitality industry standards
* Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings as required
