About the Role
As the Service Design and Transition Manager, you will work closely with the Service Design and Transition Lead and have the following key responsibilities:
* Thought Leadership
o Provide input to our Managed Service Design and Transition Strategy
o Help develop robust and repeatable templates for Service Design, Transition & Acceptance processes
o Align Service Design and Transition with business processes
Objectives
Create artefacts for reuse across multiple clients to ensure high quality and consistency in Service Discovery, Design, and Transition.
* Service Discovery: Support current support, conduct maturity assessments
* Service Design: Define scope, support model, SLAs, process model, acceptance criteria, toolset, roles, reports, transition plan, security, third-party integration
* Service Transition: Build plans, follow timelines, define milestones, establish acceptance criteria, set up tools, environment handover, and support SDMs
People Management
Support and mentor team members in Service Design and Transition.
Raising awareness of BJSS (Managed Services)
Participate in events and communication channels to promote BJSS Managed Services internally and externally.
Collective Management Responsibilities
* Support recruitment, learning & development, events & marketing, business development, bids & pre-sales
* Provide Service Management and Managed Service consultancy for client engagements
* Collaborate with the wider business to involve Managed Service early in client conversations
* Work flexibly across multiple Managed Service engagements as needed

Experience
* Extensive experience with ITIL service processes, service design, transition, and large-scale service management
* Experience in Service Operations across Managed Services
* Proven ability to design and implement new service structures and architectures
* Familiarity with a range of service management tools
