We are a family-owned and operated manufacturing and distribution business with a presence in both New Zealand and Australia. As a medium-sized company, we value a friendly, supportive work environment and are looking for a talented accountant to join our team in beautiful Cambridge.
About the Role:
As our Company Accountant, you’ll play a key role in managing our financial operations across four business units. This hands-on role involves managing daily accounting functions and leading our small finance/admin team, including:
* Accounts payable and receivable
* Maintaining the General Ledger
* Preparing monthly financial reports for the Board
* Managing monthly cashflow projections
* Assisting in the preparation of annual budgets
You will also collaborate with our external accounting firm and our Financial Director, a shareholder, to ensure everything is in top shape.
What We’re Looking For:
* A fully qualified accountant with at least 3 years of experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
* Someone based in or willing to relocate to the Waikato region
* A proactive, detail-oriented individual who enjoys working collaboratively
