We are working with a reputable civil engineering contractor that's seen strong, consistent growth across the UK. Due to increased workload across major highways, earthworks, and infrastructure schemes, they're now looking to recruit a permanent Site Engineer to join their operations team.

The Role
As Site Engineer, you'll be responsible for the accurate setting out, technical support, and day-to-day engineering coordination of civil engineering works. Projects are varied and involve roads, drainage, earthworks, and general infrastructure across both public and private sector clients.
Key Responsibilities
Setting out for roads, drainage, earthworks and general civils using GPS and total stations
Interpreting drawings and technical plans, ensuring accuracy on-site
Coordinating with site managers, subcontractors, and client teams
Supporting the delivery of projects to time, quality, and safety standards
Managing site QA, keeping accurate records, and producing as-built documentation
Ensuring H&S and environmental compliance at all times
Attending site meetings and supporting the project delivery team with technical adviceWhat We're Looking For
Minimum 2-3 years' experience as a Site Engineer on civil infrastructure projects
Strong setting out skills (Trimble, Topcon machines)
Ability to use CAD Civils 3D
Background in roads, highways, earthworks, or drainage is essential
Valid CSCS card - SMSTS/SSSTS desirable
UK driving licence - travel to sites will be required
