National Sales Role Summary
This position involves driving sales growth in designated customer segments through strong account management and proactive value-based selling.
Main Responsibilities:
* Meet sales targets and contribute to achieving team goals by managing both new and existing customer relationships.
* Pursue sales leads, visit current and potential customers, assess their needs, and provide suitable products/services.
* Negotiate prices and delivery times within authority limits and finalize sales orders.
* Act as the primary contact and business manager for assigned customers, fostering long-term relationships.
* Identify, research, and build connections with prospective customers to generate future sales and repeat business.
* Share sales leads, customer feedback, and insights on competitor activity within the organization.
* Collaborate with technical support representatives to coordinate solutions for customers in the market area.
* Ensure compliance with ethical guidelines, competition laws, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
* Maintain accurate customer and sales data in a CRM system and use tools for quotations and pricing approvals.
* Perform other duties as assigned by the manager, adhering to job constraints.
Requirements to Succeed:
* Educational background in commercial, mechanical engineering, production engineering, or administrative subjects.
* At least three years of sales and marketing experience, ideally within the commercial vehicle industry.
* Ability to work in an international business environment or matrix organization.
* Strong skills in driving sales, profitability, and developing customer relationships.
