We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate part-time Salaried GP to join our friendly, supportive,and forward-thinking primary care team. Main duties of the job
Provide high-quality, evidence-based patient centred clinical care, including face-to-face,telephone and online consultations
Manage acute, chronic, and long-term conditions in line with clinical guidelines
Undertake routine GP duties including patient triage, clinics, home visits and administrativework that includes path links and signing prescriptions
Participate in duty doctor/on-the-day care systems to deal with emergencies where necessary
Work collaboratively with the wider clinical team including nurse practitioners, nurses,pharmacists, paramedics, physiotherapy practitioners and health & wellbeing staff
Contribute to practice-wide quality improvement initiatives and QoF/ES delivery
Maintain accurate and timely clinical records using practice systems
Engage in clinical meetings, CPD activities, and contribute to the ongoing development ofservices
Support the practices commitment to safeguarding, confidentiality, and high standards ofpatient care
Help foster a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive atmosphere across both practice sites

Park View Surgery and The Nayar Practice are well established GP Surgeries in the North of Doncasterwith a combined population of circa 8500 patients. The practices use EMIS/Optum medical recordkeeping software. We pride ourselves in providing excellent patient care and supporting our staff todevelop and thrive.
We are consistently ranked as the top few practices in Doncaster based on patientfeedback and have also been ranked within the top 100 practices in the UK out of 6000 plus GPpractices.
Our team across the two Practices consist of 1 GP Principal, 6 regular locum GPs, 2 Advanced NursePractitioners, 1 Trainee Advance Practitioner, 1 Nurse prescriber, 2 Practice Nurses, 1 Nurse Associateand 2 Healthcare assistants.
Our Practices are managed by the Practice Manager and Assistant Practice Manager with acomplimentary administrative team.
Both Practices are part of the Doncaster North Primary Care Network and have a supportive team ofadditional staff they comprise of a GP, Pharmacists, Pharmacy technicians, MusculoskeletalPractitioners, Social Prescribers and Care Co-ordinators.
Job responsibilities
Provide General Medical Care:
Deliver high-quality patient-centred clinical care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment andmanagement of wide range of acute, chronic and long-term conditions
Consultation:
Conduct face-to-face, telephone and online consultations, ensuring safe and effective clinical decision making.
Clinical record keeping:
Maintain accurate, comprehensive and timely patient records in accordance with GMC good medicalpractice standards keeping in mind GDPR regulations considering patient access to medical records.
Prescribing and Medicines management:
Prescribe safely and appropriately in keeping with local formulary, perform regular medication reviewsand work collaboratively with pharmacists and pharmacy technicians on medicine optimisation.
Continuity of Care:
Provide ongoing management and follow-up of patients, ensuring continuity and co-ordination acrossservices and clinical teams within and outside the practice.
Duty Doctor/On-the-day care:
Participate in duty doctor sessions, triage systems, urgent care clinics and same-day patient demandwhere required.
Home visits:
Undertake home visits and care home reviews/ward-rounds where clinically necessary that includespalliative and EOL care patients as well as advance care planning and RESPECT decision making.
Preventive care and health promotion:
Support public health initiatives, health screening, lifestyle advice and disease preventionprogrammes.
Safeguarding:
Identify and act on safeguarding concerns for children and vulnerable adults in line with local andnational policies.
Multidisciplinary team collaboration:
Work collaboratively with other clinical teams, allied health professions and administrative team todeliver holistic care.
Quality improvement:
Contribute towards regular QI projects including QoF work, IIF/ES requirements, regular audits,clinical governance and SEAs (significant event analysis).
CPD and appraisal:
Maintain professional development and participate in regular appraisal and revalidation, keeping upto date with clinical guidelines and best practice.
Compliance with Professional standards:Adhere to GMC standards, practice policies, confidentiality and data protection requirements as wellas health and safety procedures.

Experience
* Ability to work autonomously and effectively withing a multidisciplinary team

* Good time management
* Understanding of current NHS and Primary care frameworks

* Competent in the use of GP clinical IT systems with experience of EMIS
* Experience of QOF and clinical audit
Qualifications
* Full GMC registration with licence to practice
* Inclusion on the GMC GP register
* Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP) or equivalent
* Qualified GP with Certificate of Completion of Training
* Eligibility to work in the UK
* Inclusion on the NHS Performers list
* Appropriate Medical indemnity cover
