The Technical Writer for Leica Biosystems is responsible for managing the creation and updating of technical documentation, such as instructions for Use (IFU), staining guides, notifications, and product labels for the Advanced Staining Reagent Business. The role involves collaborating with relevant departments to develop accurate, regulatory-compliant documents and maintaining revision control. You will also ensure proper product labelling is available to manufacturing, QA, product registration teams, and customers.

This position is based in Newcastle and is an on-site role within the Product Management team. Our vision is to advance cancer diagnostics and improve lives.

You will be part of the Technical Writing Team, reporting to the Technical Writer, Manager. Your responsibilities include creating and updating technical documentation, collaborating with stakeholders, and managing document uploads on the eIFU platform. If you thrive in a fast-paced, multifunctional environment and want to help build a world-class Technical Writing team, this role is for you.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

* Create and update technical documentation and labels using defined processes.

* Manage document uploads and maintenance on the eIFU platform in collaboration with Product Management.

* Work with stakeholders to ensure alignment, participate in VPM, attend project core teams, and provide timely updates to drive resolutions.

The essential requirements of the job include:

* Problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze solutions and use experience to drive resolutions.

* Sound judgment, balancing business and customer needs with a sense of urgency.

* Strong project management skills, capable of managing multiple document updates simultaneously and adjusting to changing priorities.

* Ability to explain complex information clearly to others.

Preferred qualifications include:

* Degree or equivalent experience.

* Experience with Content Management Systems.

* Experience in the Medical Device or regulated industry.
