We are proud to be a company that challenges stereotypes and makes a positive impact on our customers’ lives. We are currently recruiting a UX Designer who will be key to enhancing performance across Lovehoney Group. Partnering with the Senior UX Designer, you will shape user-centric designs for our websites, creating intuitive and engaging experiences.
Your role includes discovering, designing, and developing products, features, and journeys—optimizing layouts, promotional tools, campaign pages, self-service tools, and loyalty programs. You will leverage your UX research and design expertise to craft end-to-end journeys that meet user needs, enhance the experience, and achieve business goals.
Note: This is a fixed-term contract of up to 1 year (maternity cover).
What you will do
1. Collaborate with product owners, developers, and stakeholders to gather and evaluate user requirements.
2. Develop user flows, personas, and visions for features; create UI mockups, prototypes, and graphical assets for development.
3. Prepare, present, and refine wireframes based on internal and stakeholder feedback.
4. Identify and troubleshoot UX issues using data, user behavior, and research tools; adjust layouts based on feedback.
5. Ensure accessibility and design standards, maintain the Lovehoney UI design system, and review websites to identify issues and measure new features’ performance.
What you should bring
1. Experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role, with a portfolio showcasing UX and UI work (experience with ecommerce sites is a plus).
2. Proficiency in wireframing and design tools (Figma, Framer, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop).
3. Strong team spirit and excellent communication skills for collaboration.
4. Good time-management skills and attention to detail.
Advantageous, but not essential:
1. Qualification in Design, Computer Science, or related field.
2. Knowledge of user research and rapid testing tools (e.g., Infomizely).
3. Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG).
4. Basic knowledge of frontend coding (HTML, CSS, JS).
What we can offer you
1. A competitive salary reflecting your skills and experience.
2. Comprehensive pension scheme for your financial security.
3. Health cash plan and gym discounts (£15/month contribution).
4. Staff discounts and an annual bonus scheme.
5. A supportive, dynamic work environment that cares about your well-being and success.
