We are currently working on behalf of a business who is a market leader within the UK market. Due to an increase in business levels they are looking to add a new role to their organisation as Head of Supply Chain, responsible for all supply chain, warehousing and logistics functions across two UK sites.
Leading the UK Supply Chain strategy you will be responsible for the end to end UK strategy to ensure that the operation is able to deliver a cost effective service to ensure that high levels of customer satisfaction are met.
You will have full financial responsibility so must be able to demonstrate that you can own the supply budget and have financial accumen to identify areas to improve costs across the function.
You must be able to demonstrate that you have operated within a chilled or frozen food manufacturing environment, other industries may be considered but food manufacturing is the preference. You will be a strong leader of people having the ability to engage and drive change.
