Qualifications & Responsibilities
* Professional qualification such as Dip SW, RMN, O.T., Teacher, or Qualified Accredited Counsellor / Therapist at Level 5
* Understanding of Common Mental Health Problems and their impact on social functioning and physical health.
* Understanding of at least one brief psychological and/or psychosocial intervention and the development of positive mental health.
* A commitment to the recovery model of mental health and service user and carer involvement
* A commitment to a holistic model of mental health and working with partners to address client need.
* Experience of working with people who experience mental health problems especially depression and anxiety.
* Skills in assessment and interventions for clients with common mental health problems and consultation and supervision with primary care colleagues.
