About the role:
To lead the development and implementation of strategic workforce planning framework across schools and work in partnership with schools and education service to address workforce challenges identified.
To work strategically with the Education Service to support all workforce matters within the corporate education service and across all schools.
About you:
* You will be an experienced HR professional with an excellent ability to build relationships across corporate services and schools and support and influence services and schools with the management of HR related matters.
* You will be innovative and proactive with an ability to reach solutions to help drive success through HR Initiatives.
* You will be able to work as part of a team as well as working on your own initiative to meet deadlines.
What you will do:
* To lead the development and implementation of strategic workforce planning framework across schools. Ensuring a data insights approach.
* To work in partnership with schools and education service to address workforce challenges identified in strategic workforce planning (e.g. succession planning, aging demographics, recruitment and retention etc).
* To work with education service and colleagues in the people service to ensure appropriate skills analysis in key roles in schools, supported by appropriate learning and development.
* To support the implementation of an engagement strategy with school based staff, to ensure we have an understanding of the views and intentions of school based staff.
* To work collaboratively and strategically with the education service to support all workforce related matters including complex employee relations issues to support the delivery of service and corporate plans and priorities.
