About the Role
Are you ready to Get Stuck In? At Butlin’s, we’re on the lookout for enthusiastic Team Members who thrive on making a difference! Instead of being confined to one department, you’ll have the exciting opportunity to work across various teams, ensuring our guests have an unforgettable experience during their stay.
As a Team Member + 1 Guest Services, your week will kick off with cleaning our accommodations on Mondays and Fridays, followed by engaging with our Guest Services Team for the rest of your hours. Your cleaning responsibilities will include:
* Changing beds and disinfecting bathrooms
* Hoovering and maintaining floors
* Cleaning and dusting furniture and fittings
* Cleaning kitchens and living areas
This role involves some heavy lifting and navigating stairs with cleaning equipment, but don’t worry! We have a fantastic training program to get you started.
Our Guest Services Centre is a hub of passionate individuals dedicated to enhancing our guests' experiences. This role goes beyond just answering calls; you’ll be the hero who helps guests get back on track when things don’t go as planned. Your empathy and problem-solving skills will shine as you understand their concerns and ensure their feedback is logged and addressed.
We want you to bring your authentic self to work every day! You’ll become an expert in everything our guests need to have the best holiday ever, and we’ll support you every step of the way. A proficient telephone manner and excellent customer service skills are essential, along with the confidence to offer solutions.
About You

We’re looking for someone with experience in customer service, whether over the phone or in person. No prior hospitality experience? No problem! We’re more interested in your mindset, personality, and eagerness to learn.
Empathy and listening skills are crucial for providing a great experience, so you should feel confident leading engaging conversations with a positive tone. Additionally, you’ll be using a computer to log jobs and feedback, so fast and accurate typing skills are a must!
Every day will bring new challenges and opportunities to work with a diverse range of team members and guests.
Shift Patterns
Our resort operates 7 days a week, and you’ll be working on a rota of any 5 out of 7 days, which may include weekends. Your schedule will look like this:
* Monday and Fridays: 09:30-15:00 in Accommodation, then 16:00-21:00 in Guest Services
* Two additional full days, or one full day (08:45-17:00) and two half days (08:45-13:00), depending on the week/holidays
