Job: Reception Admin Assistant
Location: Chandlers Ford
Job type: Full time, Permanent, 37.5 hours per week (8.30am - 5pm)
We are looking for a Reception Admin Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team at Dutton Gregory Solicitors at our Chandler's Ford Head Office. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is eager to develop their professional skills in a legal office environment.
As a Reception Admin Assistant, you will be the face of our head office and a vital part of our operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. From greeting clients and visitors to keeping our facilities organised and professional, your contribution will help maintain the welcoming and efficient environment we pride ourselves on.
Key Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
* Reception Duties: Answering the entry buzzer and greeting clients, visitors, and callers to ensure a warm and professional first impression.
* Meet & Greet and Security: Meeting visitors in the ground floor foyer and escorting them to Reception.
* Meeting Room & Diary Management: Ensuring meeting rooms are clean, well-presented, and properly set up before and after use.
* Internal Events: Assisting with the setup of internal events, including organising catering.
* Post & DX: Handling incoming and outgoing mail, including opening, scanning, and sorting.
* Facilities & Health & Safety: Supporting a safe and professional working environment.
* Administrative Support: Assisting the Office Manager and legal teams with various admin tasks including CMS entry and archiving.
* Supplies Management: Ordering and managing stock for stationery and refectory areas.
* Accounts Support: Assisting with financial administration tasks such as data entry and email correspondence.
About You:
We welcome applications from all backgrounds but previous office or reception experience would be a benefit, and this role would be particularly well-suited to a recent law graduate who is looking to gain valuable administrative experience in a professional office environment — what matters most is your enthusiasm, reliability, and willingness to learn.
