Overview
Apprentice - Customer Service Library Information, Bath & North East Somerset Council. Fixed term for 12 months. The role is based in Midsomer Norton, with occasional work at other locations including Bath Housing Welfare & Advice Service, Bath Central Library, and the Library & Information Services in Keynsham, as well as the Council Connect call centre.
Responsibilities
* Welcome customers and handle varied council and library enquiries as the first point of contact.
* Provide proactive customer service across face-to-face and telephony channels, working with internal and external service partners.
* Support and participate in events and activities, including outreach events in the local community, from time to time.
* Support progression to Level 3 apprenticeship on satisfactory completion (not automatic).
About You / Requirements
* Willingness to learn and a positive attitude in delivering good customer service.
* Flexibility in approach.
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel essential).
