The Petra project/Mercy in Action is a charity that provides a homely housing option to mothers and babies/toddlers who would otherwise be facing homelessness.
Purpose of the role:
To assist the manager ensuring appropriate arrangements for keeping Mothers and children safely housed across all Petra homes
To assist with house safety, House licencing (HMO), House maintenance
Assist managing Petra client capacity and referrals
The assistant Manager will be responsible to The Petra Project Manager for delivery of services for young mothers and their children. The role will include the provision of family support, activities, training and the co-ordination and delivery of our programme.

Liaising with housing, Social workers and grant providers
Education:
* GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
Experience:
Must have some parenting or child care experience.
Knowledge about running a home
* Residential Childcare: 1 year (preferred)
* Support Environment: 1 year (preferred)
* Team leader/Assistant Manager experience: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
* DBS enhanced (required)
* Full driving license and access to a vehicle
