Land & Rural Solicitor (3-5 years')
A leading Scottish firm is seeking a passionate Solicitor to join its well-regarded Rural Property team in Edinburgh.
This is an opportunity to work with a highly experienced team advising a broad client base on complex and interesting rural property matters. While prior rural experience is welcome, it is not essential - candidates with a strong property law background and an interest in rural work are encouraged to apply.
The Role
The role will involve advising on a wide range of matters, including:
* Sale and purchase of farms, estates and forestry
* Natural capital and environmental transactions
* Succession and partnership planning
* Advising landlords and tenants on agricultural tenancies
* Supporting renewable energy developments within a rural context
About You:
* Qualified solicitor with 3-5 years' PQE and solid property law experience
* Strong time management, communication and problem-solving skills
* High level of attention to detail and awareness of risk
* Co mfortable working collaboratively while managing their own caseload
* Able to present legal advice clearly and practically to clients
