Assistant / Management Accountant, Camberley, £35-38k + Bens / Hybrid
Are you a detail-driven, forward-thinking Assistant Management Accountant ready to make an impact? We’re looking for a motivated finance professional to join a friendly and supportive team as this business’ expands in both the UK and further afield. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a a developing finance function, to bring structure to growth, and play a key role in commercial decision-making in time.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll be right at the heart of finance operations, ensuring accuracy, insight, and continuous improvement across the business. Your responsibilities will include:
* Maintaining accurate ledgers and ensuring data integrity
* Daily banking, transactional accounting & reconciliations
* Managing AP/AR processes and credit control
* Building strong customer and vendor relationships
* Overseeing month-end and year-end accounts preparation
* Preparing financial statements, KPIs and commentary
* Balance sheet reconciliations & intercompany liaison
* Supporting tax calculations, returns and compliance
* Stock accounting (distribution & manufacturing)
* Owning cost authorisation and expense policy control
* Improving and documenting processes, systems and controls
* Supporting ERP finance functionality development
* Acting as deputy for the other Management Accountant

This is a full time, permanent job. Salary is dependent on experience in a range between £33-38k. Benefits include 23 days holiday (incl just 2 to be taken over the 3 day Xmas shutdown), pension, parking. The business offers 1 hybrid / remote working day per week. Study support for appropriate qualifications can be considered after a qualifying period.
