Motus Commercials in Hull is seeking a dedicated Business Development Executive to join our friendly parts department team. The role involves working Monday to Friday, 8.00am - 5.30pm.

As a Business Development Executive in Hull, you should demonstrate:

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* High-level customer service skills
* Knowledge of products and manufacturer systems
* An understanding of the role's demands and dedication to achieving results
* A methodical work approach
* Ability to perform under pressure

It would be advantageous to have knowledge of Kerridge systems.

This customer-facing, field-based role reports directly to the Head of Parts Sales. You will be responsible for delivering excellent customer account management and maximizing parts sales by exploring new initiatives, working closely with sales teams, and maintaining high customer service standards.

Your responsibilities include:

* Growing customer base for Competitive, All Makes, and Trailer parts through CRM
* Providing detailed reports on customer activities and opportunities
* Fostering customer loyalty and maximizing sales and margins
* Encouraging use of manufacturer web-based sales platforms
* Collaborating with the parts team to ensure excellent customer service
* Developing regional promotions and relationships with key customers
* Managing parts inventory accuracy and operational controls
* Resolving invoice queries and bad debt issues promptly
* Implementing growth strategies for accounts
* Engaging in continuous learning and development
