Why this job matters
As our 2nd Line Voice Engineering Professional, you’ll help support to break / fix and managed customers in line with business standards and processes. The role is primarily focused on re-active activity to ensure continual service delivery and improvement to our customers.
You’ll monitor networking and voice alerts, implement change requests and resolve incidents in a timely manner. You will have access to a range of voice technologies including Cisco voice, Audiocodes and MS teams. Ongoing training will be provided to improve and develop your engineering skills.
Please note, travel is required is between both Exeter and Dorset. Candidates applying must also be eligible for NPPV3 and SC, which will require a minimum of 5 years working history in the UK to be eligible.
What you’ll be doing
1. Utilising your experience and technical ability to resolve tickets in-line with ITIL practises and SLA’s
2. Escalate and manage tickets into 3rd line / vendors where appropriate
3. Ensuring case notes are technically accurate and updated in a timely manor
4. Excellent communication to our customers right through to colleagues
5. Provide mentorship to 1st line and peers

What we would like to see on your CV
1. At least 1.5 years’ experience troubleshooting Cisco collaboration products
2. Experience working with (and / or knowledge of) the following technologies: Avaya Cortex/UCS10 Unexus, AudioCodes SBC/MS Teams, Redbox, Poly VVX250, Bold alarms and station yellow phones support
3. AudioCodes SBC/MS Teams
4. SIP school certified or relevant knowledge
5. Experience working with UCCX/UCCE
