Job Description:
Technical Designer / Interior Architect
Location: Central London (Studio-based, 5 days a week)
Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum (DOE)
Software: AutoCAD (Advanced proficiency essential)
Sector: Luxury Fashion & Retail Interiors
A well-respected project management consultancy in Central London is on the hunt for a highly skilled Technical Designer or Interior Architect to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-obsessed environment and has a love for the luxury retail and fashion world.
About the Company:
This studio works with global luxury brands and delivers exceptional retail environments with precision and style. If you’ve ever admired the craftsmanship and finish in a designer flagship store, chances are they had something to do with it.
The Role:
As a key technical member of the team, you'll be responsible for drawing packages, detailing, and liaising closely with contractors and suppliers to ensure flawless delivery. This is not a conceptual or decorative role – it’s for someone who lives and breathes technical detail and knows how to get a store built to perfection.
Key Requirements:
1. Proven experience in luxury retail or fashion-led interior design projects (this is non-negotiable).
2. Proficiency in AutoCAD – you’ll need to hit the ground running.
3. A background in technical design, architectural detailing, and shopfitting.
4. Strong understanding of on-site coordination, joinery detailing, and construction processes.
5. Able to manage time across multiple projects and meet demanding deadlines.
6. Clear communicator, confident working alongside project managers, architects, and contractors.
7. Studio presence required Monday–Friday – this is a collaborative, hands-on team.
What’s In It for You:
1. Work with iconic fashion brands.
2. Be part of a close-knit, professional team with high standards and a great studio culture.
3. Projects that will elevate your portfolio and challenge your technical brain in the best way.
