Residential Child Care Worker
Salary: £28,142 - £32,061 per annum plus enhancements for weekend, shift and sleep‑in duties.
Contract: Permanent, Full Time 37 hours per week.
Location: East Lancashire – Clitheroe, Burnley & Padiham.

About the Role
You will work from a residential home with children and young people aged 11‑17 years. You will eat and sleep at the home, undertake basic household tasks – cleaning, cooking, shopping – and support the children with 1:1 work around feelings, emotions and behaviour. You will also coordinate with social workers, schools, police and health workers to ensure the children’s needs are met. The role follows a rota basis covering days, evenings, weekends and sleep‑in shifts.

* Engage with children to promote emotional well‑being and personal development.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic support.
* Work on a mixed rota, including days, evenings, weekends and sleep‑in duties.
