Asset Management Consultant
Permanent, Full time (40 hours)

We are a rapidly growing business where you will play an important part in developing our asset management capability, whilst helping clients maximise the value from their assets and adapt to long-term challenges. Our Asset Management Consultants support advisory services to our infrastructure clients in the UK and beyond. You will focus on areas such as (regulatory) business planning, asset strategy, service delivery, risk management, and asset management maturity (ISO55001). You will also provide support to the wider Aqua Consultants business in asset management best practice. You will report to one of our Lead Asset Management Consultants, as part of a growing team where you will have opportunities to develop and progress in the role.
What you'll be doing: Support the development of justified and efficient (regulatory) business plans
Support the development and implementation of asset management plans and strategies
Progress on the journey of asset management maturity
Improving and making best use of asset data to deliver the right business solution
Support the development of long-term adaptive strategies
Ensure appropriate governances and assurances structures are in place
Delivering projects to excellent time and quality
Analyse data to produce trends and drive decision making
Organise meetings and workshops with clients
Author reports and presentations to enable informed decision making for the client and internal teams
Contribute to business development activity by contributing to bids and proposals
Skills & experience:
This is a role which requires you to cover many different types of projects over time, adapting to client needs and sectors as required. Clients are at the heart of everything you do, and you'll demonstrate the ability to constructively challenge the accepted norms and always seek a better way. Typically 2+yrs relevant professional experience of infrastructure asset management in the water, gas, or electricity industries
Specific knowledge and experience in asset management within a regulated sector
Able to analyse and solve a range of problems
Able to deputise for senior consultant in key meetings
Contributes to project development
Receives a moderate level of supervision
Proactive at solving problems for our clients
Ability to produce high quality reports and presentations that meet deadlines
Experience of effectively presenting to a range of stakeholders
