Please see the candidate pack for information on how you will support with this. Within fisheries we operate a fisheries duty officer role that delivers an advice service and practical response. You will be a Fisheries Technical Officer in Yorkshire, providing advice, guidance and fisheries support across the area. Your work will include fisheries management, regulation, partnership working and incident management. You will provide technical input into a range of internal and external projects, programmes, consents and permits. The ability to work collaboratively, sharing and supporting with different workloads is critical. There is an expectation to be able to travel across Yorkshire for this role, attending site visits, carrying out practical field work and attending regular face to face meetings in all our Yorkshire offices.
