The role of a Project Manager
You will oversee cladding remediation works within our organization. Responsibilities include working with our Employer’s Agent, contractors, and Resident engagement team to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of major works, conducting site visits, maintaining communication with residents, updating IT systems, and keeping detailed records until project completion, including handover to internal teams.
About You
* Qualification in Project Management, Prince 2, or equivalent
* Construction management qualification is desirable
* Proven experience managing construction, renovation, or major works projects, especially within cladding remediation, managing projects valued between £5m and £18m
* Strong organizational and leadership skills, capable of managing multiple projects
Job Purpose
To oversee cladding remediation projects, coordinate with various stakeholders, ensure project milestones are met, and maintain comprehensive records. Travel may be required.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee design process compliance with fire specifications
* Conduct site visits and report findings
* Ensure works meet design and specifications
* Support site setup and logistics
* Monitor CDM compliance and Building Safety Act requirements
* Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies
* Maintain effective communication with stakeholders
* Represent the organization in meetings and negotiations
* Keep residents informed and engaged
* Maintain project documentation and records
* Manage budgets and contracts, minimize overspend
* Produce progress reports for senior management
Person Specification
Essential
* Qualification in Project Management, Prince 2 or equivalent
* Construction management qualification is a plus
* Experience managing high-value, complex projects (£5m - £18m)
