As a Senior PMO Analyst in Global Streaming Technology Portfolio Operations, you will support the technology and delivery teams to be more efficient and successful, working in close collaboration with finance and HR.
* As a senior member of the team, you’ll play a key role through the following competencies:
* Leadership: empower and inspire others to deliver successful change initiatives and mentor PMO Analysts and PMO Administrators.
* Innovation: drive continuous improvement in processes across Global Streaming, Finance and HR.
You’ll apply the following competencies independently and primarily in complex situations, and you’ll supervise others applying them:
* Stakeholder management and communications: manage stakeholders, taking account of their levels of influence and particular interests
* Budgeting and cost control: forecast and track actual costs against budgets, ensuring appropriate project financial controls are maintained, and identifying and resolving challenges, escalating where needed.
* Governance: establish and maintain governance structures that define clear roles, responsibilities and accountabilities for governance and delivery of change initiatives, and that align with organisational practice
You’ll apply the following competencies independently and primarily in situations of some complexity:
* Schedule management: prepare and maintain schedules for activities and events for change initiatives, taking account of dependencies and resource requirements
* Risk and issue management: identify and monitor risks, to plan and implement responses to those risks, and respond to other issues that affect the change initiative.
* Change control: establish protocols to alter the scope of change initiatives, implementing the protocols when necessary, and updating configuration documentation including contracts to develop, maintain and apply quality management processes for change initiative activities and outputs.
You’ll:
* You’ll be an experienced PMO Senior Analyst/Lead with a technical background and experience of finance processes.
* You’ll be proficient in driving positive change in maturing PMOs within large, complex organisations.
* You’ll be a natural leader, adept at solving problems working effectively with different stakeholders. You will have experience influencing up to MD Level and be comfortable doing so.
* You’ll have a good understanding of how projects are delivered successfully, preferably in the media/telecommunications industry and have experience in directly managing projects.
* You’ll enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have excellent prioritisation skills in order to balance key priorities.
* You’ll be highly organised and have the drive and ability to bring order and structure to the projects environment you’ll be working in.
* You’ll demonstrate quality and attention to detail in everything you do.
* You’ll have a ‘can do’ attitude, will lead by example, and be prepared to go the extra mile when needed.
* You’ll pride yourself on your strong stakeholder management and communication skills, both written and oral.
