Responsibilities include:
* Discovering and converting new business opportunities, from standard lending to complex deals like Development Finance
* Assessing lending risk carefully, ensuring proposals are thorough, transparent, and compliant
* Supporting client retention and growth through annual reviews and portfolio management
* Collaborating across departments to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and improve processes
* Maintaining accurate forecasting and sales tracking for smarter decision-making
* Managing borrower requests that impact credit risk to protect the bank’s position
* Championing the customer experience by encouraging feedback and driving service improvements
Who You Are
You are commercially savvy, detail-oriented, and driven by building meaningful relationships with clients and your team. A background in commercial or development lending is a plus, but attitude and ambition are most important.
Skills Required:
* A proven record of success in business development, whether directly or via introducers
* Strong credit analysis skills and commercial acumen
* Excellent time management, planning, and organizational skills
