Technical Manager - Residential Developer

* Location: Head Office in Essex (with regular site visits across East London)

* Salary: Up to £85k + £6.5k car allowance + 25% bonus
Role
We are currently seeking a talented Technical Manager to join a Leading Residential Developer, managing RC frame, mixed-use residential schemes across the East London region. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the successful delivery of large-scale, high-quality developments.
The role will be primarily based at the company’s Essex head office, with regular site visits across East London and the flexibility to work remotely one day per week. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established, fast-growing developer with an exciting project pipeline and a forward-thinking approach.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and coordinate all technical aspects of residential developments from pre-construction through to completion.
* Oversee external consultants and internal teams to ensure design information is delivered accurately on time, and in line with project requirements.
* Liaise with planning authorities, utility providers, and other third parties to facilitate smooth project progression.
* Provide technical support during land acquisition, planning, and construction phases.
* Conduct regular site visits to ensure technical compliance and resolve on-site issues efficiently.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Technical Manager within residential new build construction.
* Strong understanding of UK Building Regulations, planning processes, and construction methodology.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously across different stages.
* Relevant qualifications in construction, architecture, or engineering (HNC/HND/Degree).
