We're building a business growth education and acquisitions company, and we're documenting the whole journey as we scale into something big. We're now looking for a videographer who can capture that journey with a cinematic, edgy, documentary-level style.
We want storytelling, depth, and detail. Lots of b-roll. Dynamic edits. Shots that make even the day-to-day feel alive and binge-worthy.
This role is for a specific individual to follow the founder in real time - through deals, events, behind-the-scenes, coaching sessions, and on the road - then crafting that content into long-form content that stands out online, especially on YouTube. The right candidate will understand how to create narrative, pace, and atmosphere with film.
What the role looks like
* Filming: On location in Essex (with some national travel). Following the founder day-to-day, capturing both direct-to-camera and candid/behind-the-scenes moments.
* Style: Cinematic, edgy, TV-quality. Heavy use of b-roll, movement, atmosphere and storytelling. No static "corporate" feel.
* Editing: Full long-form content for YouTube, including grading, sound, music, graphics, captions. Ability to cut short-form clips for social is a plus.
* Creative input: Helping shape the look and feel of our brand and content. Suggesting shots, storyboarding, contributing ideas.
* Technical: Running camera, lighting, and sound yourself. End-to-end responsibility.
What we're looking for
* A portfolio that proves you can deliver cinematic storytelling (non-negotiable)
* Proven experience shooting and editing content that looks broadcast-ready
* Strong sense of narrative and style - able to make business content feel raw, compelling, and powerful
* Professional kit (camera, lenses, sound, lighting, editing setup)
* Skilled in editing software (Premiere, Final Cut, or DaVinci Resolve)
* Essex-based (or close enough) with full UK driving licence + own transport
* Reliable, self-directed, and capable of turning projects around quickly
* Bonus: experience with social-first distribution and short-form storytelling
What you get
* Salary: initially £25k–£30k depending on experience (exceptional freelancers also considered)
* Considerable room to grow and manage a media team underneath you
* A varied, challenging role where no two days look the same
* The chance to document the inside story of building a business acquisitions company - a journey that will be raw, ambitious, and unlike anything else online
* Creative freedom: if you're good, you'll have scope to shape the visual identity of our brand, and of the brands we acquire
* Direct access to work with the founder - your work will directly influence how the brand is seen
If your work looks like it belongs on Netflix, rather than a boring LinkedIn feed, and you want to put your unique stamp on the story of building a major business - this role is for you.
Apply with your portfolio, and show us your best storytelling and cinematography work.
