Join Our Engineering Team at The Compleat Food Group! We’re excited to offer an incredible opportunity for an Engineering Shift Technician Engineer to join our dedicated and professional Engineering team in Poole, Dorset.

Working Hours
The working hours are 2 Weeks of Days, 2 Weeks of nights. 05:45 - 17:45 / 17:45 - 05:45. 12 hour shift with 1.5 hours unpaid breaks per day. Average of 36.75 paid working hours per week.
Responsibilities
* Perform planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance to ensure optimal line performance.
* Diagnose and resolve breakdowns efficiently to minimize downtime.
* Maintain product safety and quality by adhering to GMP and hygienic engineering standards.
* Promote sustainability and efficiency through responsible resource use and process improvements.
* Ensure systems remain compliant, audit-ready, and aligned with regulatory and industry standards.
* Accurately document all maintenance activities in the CMMS and communicate effectively during shift handovers.
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and root cause analysis to enhance reliability and performance.
* Support team development by sharing expertise and mentoring apprentices.
Qualifications
* Experience in a similar role either as an Engineering Shift Technician, Maintenance Engineer, etc.
* Relevant Industry Qualification e.g. HND/HNC in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, etc.
* Ability to work as part of a team
* Previous experience in a food environment is beneficial but not essential
