Asset Health – Assess and report on the condition of E&I equipment and systems. Maintenance & Repairs – Carry out planned and reactive maintenance to ensure system reliability. Timely Delivery – Complete work efficiently and in line with statutory requirements Contractor Oversight – Supervise third-party work to ensure safety and quality standards. Team Collaboration – Work closely with colleagues across Cadent to support operational excellence. What you’ll bring: You’re a skilled technician with a strong background in electrical and instrumentation systems or a skilled electrician wanting to progress and develop further skills in instrumentation systems. You also have a commitment to safety and quality. Experience – Proven experience in an Electrical / Instrumentation / GQ&M environment, including inspection and testing of systems on gas pressure reduction sites. Technical Knowledge – Familiarity with E&I technical standards, maintenance procedures, and relevant codes of practice. Legislation Awareness – Understanding of BS7671, EAWR, and the Health and Safety at Work Act. Qualifications – 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671) City & Guilds 2394/95 or BTEC or equivalent in Instrumentation and Controls Approved apprenticeship Certifications – COMPEX EX01–04 preferred but not essential. Team Player – Able to work independently and collaboratively with a proactive approach. Candidate must be eligible to work in the UK and hold a driving license .
