This new service is designed for people who face multiple challenges – housing, managing mental health, or reintegrating into the community. Job Purpose/Key Responsibilities: Providing tailored, one-to-one support to help people build life skills & feel empowered to live more independently. Creating a safe & positive environment where each individual feels heard & encouraged. As part of a passionate team, you'll help ensure that the support is truly person-centred - delivered with compassion and dignity. Work with the Project Leads to develop and facilitate specific workshops around the needs of the service users and monitor group uptake and interest to assist in programme development. Collaboratively create and review support plans alongside service users, actively supporting their ongoing recovery journey. Skills/Knowledge/Experience required for this role: Care Certificate (or level 1 Health & Social care qualification) or willingness to complete this qualification. Experience of working with people who have a mental health condition or learning disability. Strong understanding of substance misuse issues. Understanding of the challenges faced by people with a history of offending. Be a supportive team player with strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work in partnership with a wide range of professionals, agencies, and internal/external stakeholders. Experience of developing and facilitating group activities. A working understanding of legislation and procedures for the protection of vulnerable adults. Ability to manage change successfully in a way that prioritises the needs of service users. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
