Established for over 45 years and now one of the North Wests leading & multi award winning Engineering companies, WEC Group Ltd is looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Quality Inspector to join our team at HTA Group Limited, part of the WEC Group based in Coventry.

As a Quality Inspector you will be responsible for performing inspections of finished company product and initiating corrective actions. You will be a key member of the Quality department
Responsibilities
Liaising with production and inspection staff on quality issues
Implementing and Maintaining agreed quality procedures
Working within an ISO 9001 Management System
Reading Engineering drawings GD&T
To maintain component traceability systems
To carry out regular in-process and final inspection
To perform CMM Inspection and produce reports
To enter appropriate records into QA and production databases
Support and Developing Production part approval process (PPAP)
To support production in meeting delivery targets
Requirements
Be able to read basic fabrication drawings
Experience in a similar position in a production/Fabrication environment
Be conversant with what constitutes a good and bad weld visually
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work efficiently
Able to use basic measuring equipment
