General information Reference 2025-2329 Function Onshore – Asset Job title Welder Superintendent Job description We are currently seeking candidates for 2 year fixed term positions at Hinkley Point C location. We would be looking to deploy in January and March 2026. This role will be responsible for providing leadership and oversight for multiple welding teams, ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient delivery of welding activities in support of the project, upholding nuclear safety culture and project objectives. Key Deliverables: Promote and maintain health and safety, including site inspections and safety briefings, to ensure a positive nuclear safety culture. Oversee and coordinate the activities of multiple welding teams, each led by a non-working Supervisor, to deliver work to specification (including safety, quality, and schedule). Provide technical instruction, resources, and support to Supervisors and their teams to ensure delivery to specification. Monitor and check the work of teams to ensure adherence to safety, quality, and time parameters. Develop and review short- and medium-term programmes, translating project objectives into actionable schedules and resource plans. Liaise with Engineering, QA/QC, and other project teams to resolve technical queries and manage interfaces. Lead, coach, and support Supervisors, including performance management, disciplinary activity, and talent development. Ensure training plans are designed and implemented for all Supervisors and Operatives. Identify, monitor, and manage issues affecting productivity, developing ways of working to improve performance. Report progress, issues, and achievements to senior management and client representatives as required.
