HE Disability Practitioner & DSA Advisor (Part-Time)Salary: £14,000 - £16,000 p.a.Hours: 18.5 hours per weekContract: Part-time (Academic Year)Location: North Somerset (Weston-super-Mare)Job Category: AcademicWe are seeking an outstanding individual to join as an HE Disability Practitioner and DSA Advisor in a part-time role based in Weston-super-Mare. Key Responsibilities:
* Advise HE students and applicants on Disabled Students Allowance (DSA), supporting applications and enabling access to external support services.
* Develop and deliver elements of a transition programme to support students with disabilities, additional needs, and learning differences.
* Facilitate HE students’ completion of online screening at term start and follow up with individuals identified as having potential learning differences or support needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
* Experience developing and implementing individualised study programmes.
* Knowledge of the impact of learning differences, disabilities, and mental health on academic engagement and achievement.
